We are doing some site maintenance from today on possibly the next days which will cause some downtime on the site and especially the forum. It involves moving to another webhost and migrating the old bbPress standalone forum – sadly being turned into a WordPress plugin made this unusable for us – to a new forum software.

Since we are doing this literally in our spare time this might even take a few days just in case any issues occur. We hope not as tests worked well so far. If all works out you will not need to re-register on the new forum and be able to use your current credentials.

If you subscribed to the forum via RSS please note that RSS url's will change. Additionally the url of the forum itself will change. We will post more about that later once we are done.

Small update

Although the site and forum migration to the new host is actually complete, we are bascially just waiting for the domain to be transfered as well. For unknown reasons it takes quite long. The forum will be opened once that is complete. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am looking at the zenpage theme and would like to know how to make a few modifications.

1. How can I change the font of the gallery title text? OR how can I replace it with my own logo? (I have tried swapping 'header.jpg' in /themes/zenpage/images/ with my own 'header.jpg' containing my logo, but that had no effect).

2. On the 'Archive View' page the 'Gallery Archive' is displayed as 1 long column. Is it possible to change this to 2 or 3 columns to reduce the length of the display?

OR

Is it possible to keep the display as 1 column and have the 'Popular Tags' displayed in a second column next to it?

I appreciate that anything is possible for people like you with the required knowledge, but what is possible for unskilled novices like myself?

There is a problem with the positioning of the Favourites selector when I add a detailed description to my albums. The easiest way to demonstrate is by this link.

you will then be able to see how the 'favourites' position is affected by the album description text.

I'm not sure if this is problem needs to be corrected within the theme or the plug-in (I suspect it should be within the plug-in)

I asked this in a previous post, but we moved onto other issues.

On the 'Archive View' page the 'Gallery Archive' is displayed as 1 long column. Is it possible to change this to 2 or 3 columns to reduce the length of the display?

OR

Is it possible to keep the display as 1 column and have the 'Popular Tags' displayed in a second column next to it?

I appreciate that the right-hand sidebar menu may cause problems.

Hi folks, the Zenphoto 1.4.14 (official) is a joy to work with, thank you! I'm using the register_user plugin, within the Zenpage theme. I have the register_user plugin set to 1)View fullimage, 2)Upload, 3)Notify, 4) CAPTCHA, 5) User album. All of this is working great; the new registered user can login, upload pics to the 'auto-generated' album, and create sub albums.

When new user logs-in and goes to the 'http://***.com/zp-core/admin-edit.php?page=edit&album=login-name' I noticed that the auto-generated album's Owner is listed as the website 'Masters' user name, instead of the new registered user's name.

The auto-generated record's 'owner' field in the 'albums' table is NULL instead of having the new registered user's login-name. I'd like for the auto-generated albums to have the new registered user name inserted to the 'owner' field automatically too. I could not find which file(s) need to be modified to make it do this. Could you please tell me which files to modify?

can you explain when function.php of a theme is called ?

in fact, in this file, I change thumb size on the fly as the device is a mobile or not (of course I can use css to resize).

by default and for desktop device, thumb size is 220
if mobile device, thumb size become 350.

but sometime, thumb size is not changed (it remains 350 on desktop device)

I whish to understand why.

I am writing a piwik plugin (I use the unsupported existing one).

I want to log pages title, but only in one language (french).
Basically, it allows to avoid multiple titles to be tracked for the same page.

I found the way to force zenphoto items titles (`$_zp_current_album->getTitle('fr_FR')` as example).

But I didn't find the way to force translation of translated strings (as `gettext('Home')` or `gettext('Gallery')` as examples).

I tried the function `string dgettext ( string $domain , string $message )` used like that `dgettext('fr_FR', 'Home')`, but It does not not work.

Have you a solution to force translation? Or to well configure the function above?

In zenpage theme when viewing individual photos in an album the selector arrows for the 'prev and next' photos are high up in the header.

How can I move them down so they are on EITHER SIDE of the photos?

I would like the 'prev' arrow on the left of the photo and the 'next' arrow on the right of the photo.

If that would be too big a task how can I move them so they are in a similar position to where they are in the Basic Theme?
